Booking Terms and Conditions
A provisional reservation will be held for 5 days. If we have not received your deposit within 5 days, we regret that your reservation will lapse.
If a booking is made eight weeks or more before the holiday starts, a deposit of 25% of the full rent must be paid. The balance is payable no later than eight weeks before the arrival date. If your holiday begins within eight weeks from the time of booking then the full rent is payable immediately.
All payments must be paid and adhered to as detailed in your confirmation email. Please use your booking reference as the payment reference if paying by bank transfer or PayPal. Any overseas bank charges or fees associated with transfering funds are the responsibility of the guest, and Bosuns Holiday Accomodation will not be held responsible.
If for any reason you need to cancel, please let us know straight away so that we can re-advertise. If we succeed in re-letting the property we will give you a full refund; if not, we'll keep the deposit payment as compensation for loss of earnings. In the event of cancellation less than eight weeks before a holiday begins, the whole rent is payable unless we succeed in re-letting. With more than eight weeks notice, the deposit only would be forfeit. Refunds will be given under managements discretion.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
All peak season holidays start and finish on a Saturday. Off peak we offer short breaks and long weekend stays wherever possible. Tenancies commence at 03:00 PM on the first day and terminate at 10:30 AM on the day of departure.
Short breaks may be available depending upon time of year and booking status of property. Generally speaking peak trading period weeks from April to October are normally just on a weekly basis. Our letting units are from Saturday to Saturday. Long weekend breaks are available out of season with a minimum 3 nights stay.
There is parking for cars at Cherry Tree Lodge and for one car at Sea View Cottage. On street parking within short walking distance for Sea View Apartments.
We regret that our properties are available to non-smoking guests only.
Cots can be made available but may only be occupied by a child up to two.
Upon request very well behaved pets maybe considered. Owners take full responsibility for any damage by their pets, and must ensure that pets are not allowed on furniture, and any loose hair is cleaned prior to departure. There is a charge of £20 per pet, per week, with a maximum of 3 pets allowed per property.
ELECTRICITY, HEATING & LINEN
Electricity is included in the rent, as is central heating where provided. Bed linen and bath towels are provided. However, please note that the linen for cots is not provided, nor are beach towels.
TENANTS' OBLIGATIONS / THE TENANT AGREES:
a. to pay for any losses or damage to the
b. to take good care of the property and leave it in a clean and tidy condition at departure. Bosuns reserve the right to make a charge for extra cleaning if the property is not left in a satisfactory condition.
c. to permit the owners and their agents reasonable access to the property.
d. not to part with possession of the property, or share it, except with members of the party listed on the letting agreement.
e. not to exceed the total number of people stipulated in the property description.
f. The property is offered for the purpose of holiday accommodation only, and no such illicit activities or unauthorised business use are permitted. If the tenant(s) are suspected/found to be engaging in any such activities, they will be asked to immediately vacate the property and the holiday agreement will be terminated.
GROUPS UNDER THE AGE OF 21
Unfortunately we do not allow groups under the age of 21.
Bosuns Holidays shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expense, accident, injury or inconvenience whether to person or property which the applicant or any other person may suffer or sustain rising out of or in respect of any letting.
The contract embodied in the booking is governed by English law, and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
We try to take every care to prepare our properties to a standard whereby our visitors will enjoy their holidays. If a problem or cause for complaint does arise, please let us know immediately. Every effort will then be made to assist you.

CHERRY TREE LODGE
There is a level parking area at the property and one step into the front door. All bedrooms are upstairs and but there is a downstairs cloakroom. Unfortunately the property cannot easily accommodate people who require full time use of a wheelchair.
SEA VIEW COTTAGE
Parking at Sea View Cottage is on a slight slope with one step up into the house. There is a downstairs bedroom which has two steps down to access and the downstairs cloakroom has one step up. Due to the nature of this property spread over three floors it is unfortunately not suitable for anyone who is unable to climb stairs.
HARBOUR VIEW APARTMENTS
All the apartments have been converted from an old harbourside warehouse and are split level with either external steps or internal staircases. Unfortunately none are suitable for anyone who is unable to climb stairs apart from Sunny Corner 2 and the Rum Store.
